European bourses closed down last night. Dow closed +98 at 24216. Trend
of Dow is still looking down. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses closed firmly up. Nikkei +23, ShanghaiC +61, Hangseng +458.
STI closed +17 at 3275. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 208 to 149
losers.
Trend of STI is flattening and turning up.
Top volumes were Noble -1.1, ChinaJinjiang +1.5, Ezion unchanged,
NicoSteel unchanged, SingTel unchanged, Genting +1, HPHTrust unchanged,
GoldenAgri -0.5, ThaiBev -1, CapitaMallTrust +3.
STI opened up but slid to negative by mid morning session. It then
recovered to close up. After lunch it remained at the same level for most
part of the session and only moved up in the last hour but slid back in the
last 30 minutes to close off its day high at +17.
Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was firmer.
