European bourses closed mixed and rather flat last night. Dow closed +30
at 24283. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -80, ShanghaiC -32, Hangseng
-525. STI closed -28 at 3253. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 127
to 221 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Ezion -0.2, HPHTrust -0.5, Genting -2, Noble -2.8, YZJ -1,
NicoSteel unchanged, ThomsonMed -0.1, SingTel -2, QTVascular -0.1, ThaiBev
-1.
STI opened flat and then moved up slightly. It closed for lunch slightly
up. After lunch it slid down all the way to closed at day low at -26.
Blue chips were weaker and so was the general market.
