European bourses closed mixed last night.  Dow closed -42 at 24658.  Trend

of Dow is down. European bourses opened mixed.

Asian bourses closed mostly down.  Nikkei +145, ShanghaiC -40, Hangseng

-400.  STI closed -15 at 3301.  Volume was 1.8b shares.  Gainers were 135

to 224 losers.

Trend of STI is down.

Top volumes were NicoSteel unchanged, Noble +1.6, AdvanceSCT unchanged,

Ezion unchanged, YZJ +0.5, Genting unchanged, Wilmar -5, SingTel -1,

GoldenAgri -1.5.

STI opened slightly up but fell subsequently to close slightly down for

lunch.  After lunch it remained slightly down only to slip a bit more to

close near day low at -12.

Blue chips were slightly weaker.  The general market also saw losers

slightly more than gainers.

European bourses are still mixed at this moment while Dow's future is down.
