European bourses closed marginally down last night. Dow was +114 at 25971.
Trend of Dow is pulling back from the two days of weakness. European
bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -56, ShanghaiC -9, Hangseng -78.
STI closed +18 at 3128. Volume was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 193 to 156
losers.
Trend of STI is seeing a first uptick after two weeks of falls.
Top volumes were RexIntl +0.9, KrisEnergy +1.2, YZJ +5, Ezion +0.3,
NamCheong +0.1, AusGroup +0.4, Genting +2, LippoMallsTr -2, Spackman +0.2.
STI opened flat, turned positive for half an hour before falling back to
negative and close slightly down for lunch. After lunch it hovered at flat
for an hour before turning up and continued to make gains through the day.
It closed near day high at +18.
Blue chips were mostly green. The general market was slightly firmer.
