European bourses were up last night but Dow was -107 at 26385. Trend of
Dow is turning down. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -198, ShanghaiC -15, Hangseng
-101. STI closed -2 at 3237. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 175 to
179 losers.
Trend of STI is still up.
Top volumes were DISA unchanged, RexIntl -0.1, HuAnCable +0.2, Genting -2,
SingTel +2, Oceanus +0.2, MapleTreeLogTr -1, ThaiBev +1, NicoSteel
unchanged, KrisEnergy unchanged.
STI opened marginally and made gains to close near morning high at 3254.
After lunch it climbed further to reach day high after half an hour of
trading at 3263. It then fell all the way to close near day low at -2.
Blue chips closed mixed. The general market was slightly weaker.
