European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -12 at 25952.
Trend of Dow is starting to turn down. European bourses opened sharply
down due to trade wars.
Asian bourses closed sharply down. Nikkei -753, ShanghaiC -46, Hangseng
-729. STI -55 at 3156. Volume was 1.65b shares. Gainers were 116 to 271
losers.
Trend of STI is starting to go down.
Top volumes were RexIntl -0.1, Ezion -0.1, Noble +0.3, AEM -4, NicoSteel
unchanged, AlliedTech -0.2, Genting -4, ThaiBev -2, YZJ unchanged, SingTel
-4.
STI opened flat, turned positive for an hour before sliding down. By lunch
it was down nearly 20 points. After lunch it fell more following regional
bourses. It closed at day low at -55.
Blue chips were mostly red. The general market also saw loser to gainer
ratio at 3:1.
