European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +251 at 26657.
Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei +205, ShanghaiC +37, Hangseng
+453. STI closed +38 at 3218. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 233
to 142 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were YZJ unchanged, Genting +4, AlliedTech +0.1, Ezion +0.1,
ThaiBev +1, SingTel +1, MapletreeNACTr -3, RexIntl -0.1, HPHTrust +1.
STI opened up and continued to make gains through the day. It closed at
morning high for lunch. After lunch it continued to climb and reach day
high in mid morning before some profit taking in the last hour to close off
day high at +38.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was also firmer.
