European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed +147 at 16146. Trend
of Dow is starting to turn back up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +273, ShanghaiC -5, Hangseng +277.
STI closed +30 at 3161. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 197 to 151
losers.
Trend of STI is starting to turn up.
Top volumes were RexIntl +0.2, BlackGoldNatural +0.2, Ezion -0.1, Genting
+1, YZJ +3, STEng +24, KrisEnergy -0.2, AnchorResources +0.3, SingTel +4,
AscendasReit +2.
STI gapped up on openly and moved up a bit more to close for lunch +23.
After lunch it continued to climb and closed near day high at +30.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was also firmer with
news of trade talks between China and US.
