European bourses and Dow were up last night.  Dow closed +326 a 26362.

Trend of Dow has just broke up.  European bourses opened up.

Asian bourses closed mostly up.  Nikkei +243, ShanghaiC -5, Hangseng +21.

STI closed +20 at 3102. Volume was 658m shares.  Gainers were 209 to 129

losers.

Trend of STI is turning up a little.

Top volumes were YZJ unchanged, ChinaRealEstate unchanged, SingTel +2,

RexIntl unchanged, HPHTrust -0.3, SinoGrandness +0.4, Genting +1,

MapletreeComTr +4, ThaiBev unchanged, GoldenAgri +0.5.

STI opened +19 and reached day high in half an hour at 3114. It then pulled

back a little to close for lunch at 3107. After lunch it slid back and was

at day low by mid afternoon at 3091. It then pulled up and close for the

day at 3102.

Blue chips were mostly up.  The general market was a bit firmer.

European bourses closed mixed last night.  Dow was +258 closing at 26036.

Trend of Dow is still struggling to turn up.  European bourses opened up.

Asian bourses closed mixed.  Nikkei -18, ShanghaiC -3, Hangseng +91.  STI

closed +25 at 3081.  Volume was 588m shares.  Gainers were 216 to 142

losers.

Trend of STI is still down.

Top volumes were YZJ +2.5, SingTel unchanged, RexIntl +0.2, ThaiBev

STI opened marginally up but turned negative quickly. It was at day low

after an hour of trading at 3040, -16.  It then recovered and closed for

lunch at 3058, still +2.  After lunch it moved up a little but lost steam

and pulled back a little before making a positive move after mid morning.

It closed near day high at 3081.  Day high was 3085.

Blue chips were mostly green.  The general market was slightly firmer.

European bourses closed mixed last night.  Dow closed -121 at 25778.

Trend of Dow is looking down.  European bourses opened mixed.

closed -9 at 3059.  Volume was 623m shares.  Gainers were 134 to 229

losers.

Blue chips were weaker and so was the general market.

European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is slightly

European bourses and Dow were up last night.  Dow closed +270 at 25899.

Trend of Dow is going sideways at this point.  European bourses opened

mixed.

Asian bourses closed mixed.  Nikkei +195, ShanghaiC +39, Hangseng -16.  STI

closed -3 at 3062.  Volume was 826m shares.  Gainers were 142 to 192

losers.

Daily Summary 26 Aug 19

European bourses and Dow tumbled on Friday after US and China traded blows

on tariff hikes.  Dow fell 623 points to close at 25629.  The one week of

creeping up gave way and Dow's trend is looking down again.  European

opened mixed.

Asian bourses closed sharply down today.  Nikkei -450, ShanghaiC -34,

Hangseng -499.  STI closed -43 at 3067.  Volume was 920m shares.  Gainers

were 74 to 304 losers.

Trend of STI is turning down.

STI opened down 46 points. It traded at the 3065 level for the whole

morning closing for lunch at 3066.  After lunch it took a big dip and hit

day low at 3055 within minutes, -55 points. It stayed at this level till

midmorning before pulling up to hover around 3070 till it closed at 3067.

Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market likewise was nearly

all red.

European bourses are mixed at this moment but Dow's future is up.
