European bourses and Dow closed up on Friday. Dow was +444 at 25883. Trend
of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses were firmly up today. Nikkei +381, ShanghaiC +72, Hangseng
+446. STI closed +29 at 3269. Volume was 1.45b shares. Gainers were 195
to 166 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were ThomsonMed +0.2, RHTHealthTr +0.1, Renaissance -0.1,
ThaiBev +0.5, Ezion -0.1, Spackman -0.1, RexIntl unchanged, Genting +2,
MapletreeLogTr unchanged, Mirach -0.1.
STI opened up and hit a morning high at 3275 before 10am. It pulled back
slightly to close for lunch. After lunch it resumed its climb and hit a
day high at 3276 after mid morning. It closed slightly off the day high at
3269.
Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was firmer.
European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is slightly
down.
