European bourses were flat and mixed last night. Dow closed -15 at 25000.
Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed flat and mixed. Nikkei +15, ShanghaiC +34, Hangseng
-12. STI closed -4 at 3186. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 152 to
188 losers.
Trend of STI is sideways.
Top volumes were Ezion -0.2, RexIntl -0.5, ThaiBev +3, ChinaRealEstate
unchanged, Genting unchanged, ThomsonMed unchanged, FrasersL&ITr +3,
HPHTrust +0.5, SuntecReit -3, SingTel unchanged.
STI opened slightly up but turned negative after an hour of trading. It
then moved back up to close slightly positive for lunch. After lunch it
fell immediately to negative and fluctuated in a small band around flat
level. In the last hour it slipped down a bit more to close -4.
Blue chips were weaker and so was the general market.
