European bourses closed slightly higher last night. Dow closed +60 at
26092. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly lower. Nikkei -106, ShanghaiC -20, Hangseng
-183. STI closed -10 at 3263. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 173
to 199 losers.
Trend of STI is side ways at this point.
Top volumes were AEM +5, Genting -2, HiP +10, ThaiBev -0.5, BestWorld +29,
SingTel +1, SinoGrandness +0.6, Ezion unchanged, Blumont unchanged, RexIntl
-0.2.
STI opened flat but slipped to negative for the rest of the morning. It
moved up slightly after mid morning to close slightly down for lunch. After
lunch it slid back slightly only to end the day at -10.
Blue chips closed mostly lower. The general market was also lower.
