European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed -103 at 25851. Trend
of Dow is up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -39, ShanghaiC +52, Hangseng +186. STI
closed -8 at 3270. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 207 to 199
losers.
Trend of STI is up but levelling.
Top volumes were Genting -4, RHTHealthTr -0.1, RexIntl +0.2, Ezion +0.2,
HiP +9, ThaiBev +1.5, GoldenAgri +1.5, Aem +5, HPHTr -0.5, MapletreeLogTr
+2.
STI opened down, moved up slightly to reach day high at 3273 but still
negative. It slipped back slightly to close for lunch. After lunch it moved
up a bit but unable to turn positive, closing at 3270, -8.
Blue chips were slightly firmer while the general market was mixed.
