Dow and European bourses were down last night. Dow closed -221 at 25170.
Trend of Dow is still up with this first day of falls. European bourses
opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -410, ShanghaiC closed, Hangseng
-44. STI closed -3 at 3197. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 140 to
206 losers.
Trend of STI is slipping to sideways again.
Top volumes were Ezion -0.2, ThaiBev -1.5, JCG unchanged, RexIntl -0.1, YZJ
+2, KeppelReit +2, ThomsonMed unchanged, SingTel +1, Genting +1, Aem -1.5.
STI opened down but recovered quickly and was positive after half an hour
of trading. It fell back to slightly negative to close for lunch. After
lunch it moved back slightly to stay relatively flat till the closing at
-3.
Blue chips were mostly red. The general market was down.
European bourses are slightly up at this moment but Dow's future is still
down.
