European bourses and Dow were firmly up on Friday. Dow closed +320 at
26817. Trend of Dow has turned up. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei closed, ShanghaiC +34, Hangseng
+212. STI closed +10 at 3124. Volume was 756m shares. Gainers were 161
to 177 losers.
Trend of STI is turning up.
Top volumes were RexIntl -0.3, Singapore-eDev +0.2, AlphaEnergy -0.3,
SunMoonFood -0.2, Spackman unchanged, Synagie -0.2, YVentures -1.6, Tee
-0.1, GoldenAgri unchanged.
STI opened at 3130, +17. It then slipped down slightly to close for lunch
at 3126. After lunch it stayed at this level for a while before moving up
slightly but slipped back in late afternoon to close at 3124.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market was a bit weaker.
