European bourses and Dow were slightly down last night. Dow closed -29 at
26787. Trend of Dow is looking up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +408, ShanghaiC -17, Hangseng -16. STI
closed -10 at 3115. Volume was 590m shares. Gainers were 156 to 169
losers.
Trend of STI is slightly up.
Top volumes were GoldenAgi +0.5, YVentures +0.5, RexIntl unchanged,
GInvacom +0.6, YZJ -0.5, LeyChoon +0.2, Spackman +0.1, Singapore-eDev +0.3,
Genting +0.5, Aem +4.
STI opened marginally up. It traded +/- 5 points till late morning before
slipping a bit more to close for lunch at 3123, -1. After lunch it fell a
little and then fell a bit more in late afternoon to close at 3115.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market was a bit weaker.
