European bourses and Dow fell sharply last night. Dow was -495 at 26079.
Trend of Dow is down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -437, ShanghaiC closed, Hangseng +68.
STI closed -17 at 3086. Volume was 528m shares. Gainers were 147 to 158
losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were YZJ +2, GoldenAgri -0.5, Tee +0.1, RexIntl unchanged,
LendleaseReit -0.5 YVenture +0.6, GInvacom +0.8, Genting +0.5, Synagie
+0.6, SingTel unchanged.
STI opened -27 points. It moved up slightly but unable to turn positive and
close for lunch at the same level as opening at 3076. After lunch it
hovered at the same level and moved up a bit more in late afternoon to
closed at 3086.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market saw gainers slightly lesser than
losers.
