European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed +122 at 26201. Trend
of Dow is down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei +68, ShanghaiC closed, Hangseng
-289. STI closed -10 at 3078. Volume was 462m shares. Gainers were 138
to 162 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were GoldenAgri +0.5, LendleaseReit +2, YVentures unchanged,
SingTel -3, YZJ -1.5, Synagie -0.1, Genting unchanged, RexIntl -0.1,
AscendasReit unchanged, GInvacom -0.2.
STI opened marginally up but slipped to negative quickly. It then stayed
negative for the whole morning closing for lunch at 3078. After lunch it
stayed at this level for an hour before slipping down further. It then
pulled back to close at 3078.
Blue chips saw more losers than gainers. The general market was weaker.
