European bourses closed mixed and flat last night. Dow closed -24 at
27026. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei +40, ShanghaiC -39, Hangseng
-129. STI closed -12 at 3114. Volume was 850m shares. Gainers were 121 to
186 losers.
Trend of STI is starting to turn down.
Top volumes were MDR unchanged, RexIntl +0.5, ThaiBev +2.5, Spackman
unchanged, Genting -1, YZJ -1, KLW unchanged, AEM +2, YVentures +0.1,
Singapore-eDev -0.2.
STI opened marginally up at 3129, +3. It hovered at this level and
eventually slipped down a little to close for lunch at 3114. After lunch it
was directionless but moved up a little in the last hour to close at 3114.
Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was down.
European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is slightly
down.
