European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed -19 at 27071. One year trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed and flat.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -131, ShanghaiC -15, Hangseng -177. STI closed +9 at 3206. Volume was 786m shares. Gainers were 178 to 169 losers.
Trend of STI is moving sideways.
Top volumes were RexIntl +0.6, P5Capital +0.8, Genting +1, IEV +0.3, SingTel unchanged, GoldenAgr unchanged, SunMoonFood unchanged, Ginvacom +1.1, CapitalWorld +0.2, Spackman +0.1.
STI opened up but slid down for an hour before moving back up to close for lunch at 3207, +10. After lunch it stayed at this level with +/- 5 points. It fell further in the last hour of trading but pulled back in the last 30 minutes to close at 3206.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market saw about equal gainers and losers.
European bourses are mixed and flat at this moment while Dow's future is a bit down.
