European bourses closed slightly up
yesterday while Dow was +133 at 27091. Dow's one year trend is up.
European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei
+107, ShanghaiC -26, Hangseng -141. STI closed +9 at 3194. Volume was
773m shares. Gainers were 162 to 205 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were YZJ +0.5, RexIntl
unchanged, GoldenAgri -1, SingTel 11, EagleHTrust +2, Tee +0.1, Genting
unchanged, IEV +1.1, SuntecReit +4, MapletreeLogTr -2.
STI opened at 3214, +19. It hit day
high after half an hour of trading at 3227, +42. It then fell back and
closed for lunch at 3203. After lunch it moved up slightly only to fall
back and slid all the way to close near day low at 3194. Day low was
3187.
Blue chips were firmer. The general market was weaker.
European bourses and Dow's future are down at this moment.
