European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow was +115 at 27187. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -131, ShanghaiC -9, Hangseng -119. STI closed +23 at 3231. Volume was 1.1m shares. Gainers were 212 to 144 losers.
Trend of STI is looking up.
Top volumes were RexIntl +0.1, SunMoonFood +0.5, Tee +0.3, Singapore-eDev +0.3, Genting +0.5, ThaiBev +0.5, SingTel +4, GoldenAgri -0.5, GSSEnergy +0.2.
STI opened +10 at 3218 and continued to move higher hitting morning high in an hour at 3233. It then slipped down a bit before moving back up but closed for lunch at 3226. After lunch it moved higher and hit day high in early afternoon at 3235. It then pulled back to close at 3231.
There were more gainers than losers among blue chips. The general market was firmer.
European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is down.
