European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -140 at 27046. One year trend of Dow is looking up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourse closed mixed. Nikkei -76, ShanghaiC +29, Hangseng +176. STI closed -4 at 3226. Volume was 802m shares. Gainers were 153 to 152 losers.
One year trend of STI is flat.
Top volumes were RexIntl +0.2, Tee unchanged, Genting -0.5, YZJ -0.5, NicoSteel unchanged, MDR unchanged, SunMoonFood -0.2, GoldenAgri +0.5, Vividthree -0.3, P5Capital -0.5.
STI opened marginally down but fell to day low in less than half an hour at 3209, -20. From there it climbed back to close flat for lunch. After lunch it moved up and was at day high at 3237 after an hour of trading. It could not hold on and slid back to close at 3226.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market saw about equal gainers and losers.
European bourses and Dow's future are slightly up at this moment.
