European bourses closed mixed on Friday. Dow closed +223 at 28005. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses were mostly higher, Nikkei +113, ShanghaiC +18, Hangseng +354. STI closed +14 at 3253. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 278 to 172 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Tritech +1.1, YZJ +8, SinoCloud unchanged, Ausgroup +0.3, RexIntl +0.5, GoldenAgri unchanged, YomaStrategic +1.5, TeeIntel +0.2, SingTel +4, NamCheong +0.2.
STI opened down but quickly moved back up and hit morning high after an hour of trading at 3249. It then pulled back a little but recovered to close for lunch near morning high at 3248. After lunch it slipped down a bit before turning up and closed the day at 3253. Day high was 3258.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was firmer.
European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is up.
