European bourses were down but Dow closed +92 at 27784. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -178, ShanghaiC +5, Hangseng -248. STI closed -8 at 3231. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 213 to 239 losers.
Trend of STI is still slightly up but weakening.
Top volumes were RexIntl +0.6, GoldenAgri -1, YZJ +1, Tritech +0.4, MapletreeNAC Tr -1, YomaStrategic +5, ComfortDelgro -8, MermaidMaritime +0.7, Jiutian -0.1, TeeIntl +0.2.
STI opened slightly down and fell further but turned up quickly to hit day high after an hour of trading at 3245, +5. It then fell back to to hit day low at 3225 before closing for lunch at 3231. After lunch it traded in a small range and eventually closed at 3231.
Blue chips were weaker. The general market was also weaker.
European bourses and Dow's future are down at this moment.
