European bourses and Dow closed down last night. Dow was -55 at 27766. Trend of Dow is still up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +74, ShanghaiC -18, Hangseng +128. STI closed +37 at 3229. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 272 to 142 losers.
Trend of STI is pointing slightly up.
Top volumes were RexIntl +2, Tritech -0.4, JCGInvestment unchanged, GoldenAgri -0.5, YZJ +2.5, SingTel +7, DynaMac +0.8, MapletreeComTr +6, GSSEnergy +0.6, MapletreeNACTr -1.
STI opened +8 at 3200. It moved up slightly through the morning session to close for lunch at 3210. After lunch it continued to move up slightly and moved higher in the last hour of trading to close near day high at 3229. Day high was 3233.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was firmer.
European bourses and Dow's future are up at this moment.
