European bourses closed slightly last night but Dow was flat. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei +27, ShanghaiC flat, Hangseng +88. STI closed +17 at 3280. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 195 to 142 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were RexIntl +2.9, YZJ -3, AusGroup +0.6, CiticEnvirotech +16.5, AlphaEnergy -0.1, DynaMac +1.5, MoyaAsia +0.5, GoldenAgri +0.5, MarcoPoloMarine +0.1, AnchorResources +0.1.
STI opened flat and moved up slightly before slipping back to close for lunch marginally up. After lunch it move up slightly and made a bigger move in late after when Dow's future moved up strongly. It closed near day high at 3280. Day high was 3282.
Blue chips and the general market were firmer.
European bourses and Dow's future are firmly up at this moment.
