European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed +31 at 28036. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -124, ShanghaiC +25, Hangseng +413. STI closed -22 at 3237. Volume was 1.45b shares. Gainers were 222 to 258 losers.
Trend of STI is slightly up.
Top volumes were GoldenAgri -1.5, YZJ -2, RexIntl -0.4, SingTel -3, SenYue +0.2, MapletreeNACTr -1, Spackman unchanged, MarcoPoloMarine +0.2, AscendasRei +4, Valuetronic +1.5.
STI opened down-18 and fell further to day low in the first half hour at 3224. It then recovered to hit day high in mid morning at 3249. It slipped back to close for lunch at 3236. After lunch it tried to move back up but managed to close at 3237.
Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was down.
European bourses and Dow's future are up at this moment.
