European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed +42 at 28164. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed all in the red. Nikkei -29, ShanghaiC -14, Hangseng -60. STI closed -13 at 3203. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 177 to 236 losers.
Trend of STI is still looking up slightly.
Top volumes were P5Capital +0.1, Tritech -0.2, RexIntl -0.6, GoldenAgri -1, Tee +0.5, ReenovaInvestment unchanged, YZJ -3, JCG +0.1, MapletreeComTr +2, ThaiBev -1.
STI opened slightly down, turned up to flat but fell again. It closed for lunch at 3205. After lunch it fell further but tried to move back up. The recovery was weak and after mid afternoon it continued to fall to close near day low at 3203. Day low was 3198.
There were more losers than gainers among the blue chips. The general market was weaker.
European bourses and Dow's future are down at this moment.
