European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -1 at 27782. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +162, ShanghaiC -19, Hangseng +3. STI closed +2 at 3234. Volume was 2.8b shares. Gainers were 225 to 226 losers.
Trend of STI is slightly up.
Top volumes were United Engineers -1, YZJ +3, SingTel -12, GoldenAgri +1, RexIntl -0.7, ChinaStarFood +0.2, Tritech +0.3, UMS +4, SinoGrandness unchanged, AscendasReit -1.
STI opened slightly up and moved higher to hit day high in half an hour of trading at 3243, +12. It then fell to hit day low before lunch at 3229. It closed for lunch at 3235. After lunch it hovered at a small range and dipped a bit further in the last hour of trading but pulled back to close at 3234.
Blue chips saw a bit more gainers than losers. The general market there were equal number of gainers and losers.
European bourses and Dow's future are up at this moment.
