European bourses closed mixed last night but Dow closed +97 at 26917.

Trend of Dow is still down.  European bourses opened flat and mixed.

Asian bourses closed mostly up.  Nikkei +129, ShanghaiC and Hangseng

closed.  STI closed +23 at 3143.  Volume was 546m shares.  Gainers were 192

to 121 losers.

Trend of STI is making a first big move to break up.

Top volumes were RexIntl +0.1, NicoSteel -0.1, Tee +0.1, YZJ +4, YVentures

+1.9, GoldenAgri +0.5, Ginvacom +1, SingTel +3, Synagie +0.9, Genting +1.

STI opened +11 and kept moving up, reaching day high at +37 before closing

for lunch at 3153, +34.  After lunch it slid down slightly and closed at

3143.

Blue chips were mostly up.  The general market was up.

Dow's future is up at this moment but European bourses are mixed.
