Daily Summary 11 Sep 14

Europe and Dow were slightly up last night.  Dow closed 55 at 17069. Dow's short term trend is still down. Dow's future is now -51.  Europe opened slightly down at the moment.

Asian bourses were  mixed.  Nikkei +120, ShanghaiC -7, Hangseng -43.  STI +7 at 3346.  Volume was 1.4b shares.  Gainers were 189 to 237 losers.

Trend of STI is still flat but looking firmer.

Top volumes were IHC unchanged, APAC unchanged, ThaiBev +2.5, Sincap -0.1, Vallianz -0.7, Genting -1, GoldenAgr -1, Blumont -0.1, Armarda +0.1, Mirach -0.1.

Market opened slightly up and gained a bit more closing near day high with +9 pts.  Volume was still a low of 1.4b shares.  Blue chips were firmer. Penny and speculatives were weaker.

Europe and Dow are looking weak at the moment.
