Europe were mixed on Friday while Dow
+167 to close at 17113. Dow's short term downtrend is holding after
the gain. Dow's future is now -67. Europe opened flat.
Asian bourses were mixed but Hangseng
fell sharply due to the public protest. Hangseng -449. Nikkei +81
and ShanghaiC +10. STI closed -8 at 3284. Volume was another
low of 1.2b shares. Gainers were 187 to 216 losers.
Trend of STI is sliding down gently.
Top volumes were Mirach +1, IHC unchanged,
NextGenSat unchanged, APAC +0.1, TuanSing +2, Sunvic +2, SingaporeeDev
unchanged, Charisma -0.2, Vibrant -0.1, Blumont unchanged.
STI opened flat and stayed flat for
the whole day. It fell slightly in the last half hour to close -8. However
after matching it recovered and closed at -2. Blue chips were generally
firmer. Market was not badly affected by Hongkong but cautious.
Europe are looking steady at the moment
while Dow is a bit down.
