Europe were slightly firmer on Friday
while Dow closed + 68 at 17137. Dow's short term trend is firming
up. Dow's future at the moment is -20. Europe opened mixed.
Asian bourses were mixed and generally
flat. Nikkei +36, ShanghaiC +20, Hangseng -50. STI closed -5
at 3336. Volume was 2b shares. Gainers were 171 to 256 losers.
Short term trend of STI is flat.
Top volumes were SingaporeeDev unchanged,
IC -0.5, APAC -0.5, ThaiBev -0.5, HPHTrust +0.5, DynaMac +2.5, SIIC +0.4,
Mirach -0.4, Blumont unchanged, Cosmosteel +0.5.
Market opened flat but slipped down
slightly subsequently. It traded in a very narrow band. Blue chips
were mixed but Penny and speculatives were weaker.
Europe and Dow are looking slightly
weaker at the moment.
