Dow and Europe were up last night. Dow
+109 at 17266. Dow's short term trend is up. Dow's future is now +75. Europe
opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+254, ShanghaiC +14, Hangseng + 137. STI closed +10 at 3307. Volume
was 2b shares. Gainers were 276 to 204 losers.
Short term trend of STI is turning up.
Top gainers were SIIC +0.8, Digiland
unchanged, Xpress +0.1, EMS +0.4, Keppel Reit -1.5, ThaiBev -1, APAC unchanged,
IC unchanged, CompactMetal +0.2, SingaporeeDev +0.1.
Market opened marginally down but recovered
immediately and stayed positive for the whole day. Volume was 2b. Blue
chips were firmer. Penny and speculatives were seeing more gainers
as well.
Europe and Dow are looking to be firm
tonight.
