Europe was flat last night. Dow
continued to recover, +25 to close at 17157. Short term trend of
Dow is turning up. Dow's future at the moment is +35. Europe
opened firmly up.
Asian bourses were mostly up except
Hangseng -208. Nikkei +179, ShanghaiC +8. STI closed +4 at 3300.
Volume was 2.2b shares. Gainers were 182 to 250 losers.
Short term trend of STI has stopped
falling.
Top volumes were SingaporeeDev -0.2,
Digiland unchanged, GSH +0.1, IHC unchanged, Noble +5.5, Mirach -0.2, APAC
unchanged, Artivision +0.1, CompactMetal +0.5, Xpress -0.1.
Market opened slightly up and but stayed
relatively flat for the day. Blue chips were slightly weaker. Penny and
speculatives were also weaker.
Dow and Europe are looking firm at the
moment.
