European bourses and Dow closed up last night. Dow closed at +228 at
27137. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +162, ShanghaiC +22, Hangseng -65. STI
closed -11 at 3194. Volume was 700m shares. Gainers were 146 to 159
losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were MDR unchanged, YZJ +5, Tee +0.4, ThaiBev +0.5, Spackman
+0.1, CapitaComTr unchanged, RexIntl -0.2, Ginvacom +0.4, SingTel -1,
Genting unchanged.
STI opened +10 but retreated quickly and closed for lunch at 3199, -5.
After lunch it slipped a bit further and stayed slightly down for the rest
of the day. It closed at 3194.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market was also mixed.
