European bourses closed mixed and flat last night. Dow closed +34 at
27111. Trend of Dow still up but starting to turn down. European bourses
opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -41, ShanghaiC +8, Hangseng -32. STI
closed -17 at 3166. Volume was 700m shares. Gainers were 145 to 178
losers.
Trend of STI is about to break down.
Top volumes were Tee +0.4, RexIntl -0.5, Spackman +0.1, MapletreeIndTr +7,
LionGold unchanged, YZJ -3, Medtec +0.7, KeppelDCReit +4, AlphaEnergy +0.2,
MapletreeComTr +6.
STI opened slightly up but was flat after half an hour of trading. It then
fell towards lunch and close at 3171, -12. After lunch it stayed at this
level for most part of the afternoon session only to close slightly lower
at 3166.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market was slightly weaker.
