European bourses were down last night but Dow was +163 at 26971. Trend of
Dow is still looking down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +28, ShanghaiC -26, Hangseng +97.
STI closed +2 at 3127. Volume was 480m shares. Gainers were 164 to 145
losers.
STI trend is down.
Top volumes were Tee +0.2, YZJ unchanged, RexIntl unchanged, GoldenAgri
-0.5, MapletreeComTr +3, ESRReit -0.5, SingTel -3, genting unchanged,
GInvacom +0.4, CapitacomTr -2.
STI opened +5 and stayed at this level till mid morning before sliding down
a bit more to close for lunch at 3127, +2. After lunch it moved up
slightly and reached day high at 3135 before dipping down in the last hour
to close at 3127.
Blue chips were slightly firmer. The general market saw gainers slightly
more than losers.
