European bourses and Dow continued to move up though gradually. Dow closed
+45 at 27182. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened slightly up.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei +229, ShanghaiC +22, Hangseng
+218. STI closed +15 at 3210. Volume was 624m shares. Gainers were 212
to 113 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were YZJ +1, RexIntl +0.1,SinoGrandness +0.4, ThomsonMed +0.3,
Synagie -0.3, GInvacom +0.7, Genting +0.5, AEM +0.4, SingTel unchanged.
STI opened +5 and moved higher a bit to close for lunch at 3207, +12.
After lunch it continued to inch up and hit day high at 3217 in late
afternoon. It then pulled back slightly to close at 3210.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was firmer.
