Dow and European bourses were up on Friday. Dow closed +37 at 27220.
Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +229, ShanghaiC -1, Hangseng -228. STI
closed -8 at 3203. Volume was 636m shares. Gainers were 141 to 169
losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were RexIntl +0.6, YZJ -4, SinoGrandness -0.1, Genting
unchanged, ThaiBev +1, Ginvacom +0.5, GSSEnergy +0.5, SunMoonFood +0.5,
MapletreeComTr -2, CapitaComTr +3.
STI opened marginally down and fell further but recovered after midmorning.
It closed for lunch flat. After lunch it stayed flat for most of the
afternoon and slipped a bit more to close at 3203.
Blue chips saw more losers than gainers. The general market was slightly
weaker.
