European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -285 at 26118.
Trend of Dow is struggling to turn up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei +37, ShanghaiC +27, Hangseng
rallied +1085. STI closed +45 at 3136. Volume was 752m shares. Gainers
were 236 to 121 losers.
Trend of STI has broke up from the sideway trend.
Top volumes were YZJ +3.5 RenaissanceUnited unchanged, RexIntl +2,
MapletreeNAC +5, SingTel +5, Genting unchanged, Synagie +0.7, ThaiBev -0.5,
CapitaComTr +3, AscendasReit +4.
STI opened marginally down but turned positive after half an hour of
trading. It closed for lunch at 3102. After lunch it continued to climb
and closed near day high at 3136. Day high was 3143.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was firmer.
