European bourses were up last night. Dow closed -80 at 26891. Trend of
Dow is down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -169, ShanghaiC +3, Hangseng -87.
STI closed -4 at 3122. Volume was 496m shares. Gainers were 139 to 179
losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Tee +0.2, MapletreeComTr -2, ChinaRealEstate +0.1,
Trendiness +0.6, GoldenAgri unchanged, RexIntl unchanged, HPHTrust -0.6,
SingTel -1, Ginvacom +0.1, YZJ -1.
STI opened slightly up but slipped to negative after half an hour of
trading. It stayed at this level, about -5 for the rest of the morning,
closing for lunch at -6. After lunch it crept up slightly along the way to
close the session at -4.
Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was also weaker.
