Europe closed mixed last night while
Dow was -26 at 17043. Dow's falling trend appears to be levelling at this
stage. Dow's future is now -3. Europe opened relatively flat.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -91.
Shanghai and Hongkong were closed. STI closed -10 at 3265. Volume
hit another record low of 1.1b shares. Gainers were 193 to 211 losers.
Trend of STI is still slipping down.
Top volumes were Mirach +0.1, APAC +0.1,
IC unchanged, Charisma -0.1, ThaiBev -1, Noble -1, ChinaFibretech +0.5,
Genting -2.5, Yuuzoo +4, GoldenAgri +1.
Another listless trading session. Market
opened slightly down and stayed that way through the whole session. Volume
hit another new low for lack of interest in the market. Blue chips
were mostly down. Penny and speculatives were mixed.
Europe and Dow are looking flat at this
moment.
