Daly Summary 23 Oct 14
European bourses were slightly up but Dow closed -153 at 16461. Dow's trend has actually done a golden crossing and breaking up. Dow's future at the moment is +90. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -57, ShanghaiC -24, Hangseng -71. STI closed +31 at 3233. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers wer e272 to 159 losers.
Trend of STI has turned up with a golden crossing.
Top volumes were IHC +0.5, APAC -0.1, Mirach +0.4, InnoPac +0.1, Genting +2, SingaporeeDev unchanged, HPH Trust +0.5, SIIC +0.8, Ezion +10, Blumont unchanged.
Market opened slightly up and stayed up to buck the trend among Asian bourses. It made further gains in late afternoon when Europe opened positive. Blue chips were mostly up. Penny and speculatives were generally firmer too.
Europe and Dow are looking good at the moment.
