Europe and Dow were much firmer last
night. Dow closed +188 at 17006. Dow's trend is up. Dow's future is flat
at the moment. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+224, ShanghaiC +35, Hangseng +300. STI closed +12 at 3224. Volume
was a pathetic 1.3b shares. Gainers were 275 to 157 losers.
Trend of STI is still flat.
Top volumes were APAC +0.3, IHC unchanged,
OLS +0.1, GoldenAgri +0.5, OSIM -21.5, Noble unchanged, InnoPac unchanged,
JES -0.1, Mirach -0.1, SinoGrandness -1.
Market opened up and stayed up the whole
session but with a small gain of 12 pts. Volume was as usual, a non event.
Blue chips were firmer. Penny and speculatives were also firmer.
Market is still like a cemetry.
Europe and Dow are looking steady for
tonight.
