Europe recovered some grounds last night.
Dow was also positive in the first half of trading but slid back to -6
points closing at 16315. Dow's trend is still down. Dow's future
is now -37. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly firmer. Nikkei
+137, ShanghaiC +14 and Hangseng +92. STI closed +4, near its day
low at 3199. It hit a day high at 3210. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers
were 159 to 302 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Vard -13.5, IHC unchanged,
Topglobal -0.1, OttoMarine -0.6, APAC -0.1, GoldenAgri -1.5, Charisma -0.2,
JES +0.2, BengKuang +0.2, HPHTrust unchanged.
Market opened up and stay up throughout
the session with a short period dipping slightly to negative. Blue
chips were slightly firmer. Penny and speculative stocks were mostly down.
There are still a lot of weaknesses despite several day's of losses.
Europe is looking down at the moment.
Dow's future is also in the negative.
