Europe were mixed while Dow recovered
to close +19 at 16400. Dow's trend is attempting to reverse the downtrend.
Dow's future is now -3. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
-309, ShanghaiC -17, Hangseng +18. STI closed +1 at 3199.. Volume
was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 231 to 198 losers.
Trend of STI is starting to turn up.
Top volumes were Genting -1, IC unchanged,
APAC -0.1, OLS unchanged, Spackman +5, Mirach -0.3, ThaiBev +0.5, Blumont
-0.1, SingPost -2, Charisma unchanged.
Market opened flat but crept back to
positive through the session. It closed near day high. Blue chips were
mostly up. Penny and speculatives were slightly better.
Trading remained subdue with little
activities.
Europe is very firm at the moment while
Dow's future is marginally down.
