European bourses were down on Friday
but Dow gained 128 pts to close 16805. Dow's trend is up. Dow's future
is now +28. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei
+97, ShanghaiC -12, Hangseng -1. STI closed +4 at 3226. Volume
was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 193 to 247 losers.
Up trend of STI is flattening a bit.
Top volumes were APAC -0.9, Oceanus
+0.1, IHC unchanged, Blumont -0.2, SingTel +2, Artivision +0.8, OLS unchanged,
Jaya +0.3, LionGold -0.4, Mirach -0.3.
Market opened up but fell quickly to
stay flat most part of the day. It dipped to negative in late afternoon
but regained a few points during matching. Blue chips were mixed. Penny
and speculatives too were mixed.
Dow and Europe are looking steady at
the moment.
