Another day of big falls in Europe and
Dow. Dow was -400 but managed to close better at 16142, -173. Dow's
trend is down. Dow's future is now +40. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were all down. Nikkei
-335, ShanghaiC -17, Hangseng -239. STI closed -45 at 3154. Volume
was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 89 to 430 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were APAC unchanged, IHC
-0.5, Mirach -1, GoldenAgri -1, Noble -4, Ezion -13, Genting -3, InnoPac
+0.1, ThaiBev unchanged, Charisma -0.1.
Market opened down and went down further.
It closed at -38 but fell to -44.5 after matching to close at day low.
It was a sea of red. Blue chips were nearly all red with banks taking a
hit. Penny and speculatives were not spared.
European bourses are recovering at the
moment and Dow's future is positive. Maybe some technical rebound is on
the card tonight.
